Damodar Kunda is one of holiest lake situated in upper Mustang region of Nepal. In the Barah Puran Lord Krishna has said that the person who pays to visit this Kunda and takes a deep bath here will be freed from his all sins. In puran it is also mentioned that two sons of Kuber were suffering from their sins that they made in their previous birth. Lord Krishna suggested them to take bath in Damodar Kunda. After taking bath in this Kunda they were released from their sins. The Kunda is an elevation of 5400 meters. Just a short climb up from here spectacular Tibetan plateau, Damodar Himal and the massive Annapurna Himalayan range can be seen. This area is open for visitors from April to September. On full moon day of every August big festival is celebrated here. On this occasion many Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims gather in this holy site.

Itinerary

Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, meet our officer. He assist you transfer to hotel. If time permits evening visit to Pashupatinath temple and see arati and bhajan. Overnight at hotel
Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Bouddha Nath, Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan) and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel
Day 03: After breakfast transfer to Kathmandu Airport. Fly to Muktinath by Helicopter (1:40 minutes). The Helicopter will be landed at Ranipawa (3710 m). Walk to Muktinath (30 minutes). Darshan of Muktinath Temple. Take a bath on 108 water spouts (depend on interest). Back to Ranipawa. Fly to Damodar Kunda. After Darshan and Puja fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel
Day 04: Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport to catch up your flight for onward journey.
