Janakpur Dham Dharsan

Janakpurdham, the kingdom of King Janak is one of the historical and religious cities of Nepal. It lies in the east southern of Nepal nearby Indian boarder. Everyday thousands of people visit this place for darshan of Janaki Temple, Vibaha Mandap, Ganga Sagar, Dhanush Sagar and Dhanushadham. Janaki Temple dedicated to Goddess Sita is located at the heart of Janankpur. It is an example of 'Hindu-Rajput' architecture. This is considered as the most important model of the Rajput architecture in Nepal built by Queen Brisabhanu Kunwari of Tikamgarh from centra India in 1898 AD at a cost of rupees 900000. Therefore In local parlance, the temple is also called Nau Lakha Mandir or Temple of Nine Lakh Rupees. . The Vivah Mandap temple where Lord Rama and Sita are said to have been married is situated next to the Janki Mandir. The two most important, Dhanush Sagar and Ganga Sagar, are located close to the city centre. The another important site Dhanushadam where Ram string the bow of Lord Shiva is 20 km ahead of Janaki Temple. To visit Janakpur Dham from Kathmandu flight as well as road transport are available.

Itinerary
Day 01: Upon arrival in Kathmandu International Airport, meet our officer. He assist you transfer to hotel. If time permits evening visit to Pashupatinath temple and see arati and bhajan. Overnight at hotel

Day 02: Sightseeing tour of Bouddha Nath, Budhanilkantha (Jal Narayan) and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Overnight at hotel

Day 03: Fly to Janakpur from Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Janakpur airport drive to Janaki Temple. Darshan of Janaki Temple, Vibaha Mandap, Dhanush Sagar, Ganga Sagar. Lunch at the hotel. Then drive to Dhanusha Dham. Then return back to Janakpur airport. Fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

Day 04: Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport to catch up flight for your onward journey.

Day 05: Transfer to Kathmandu International Airport to catch up flight for your onward journey.
